Mr Bafana Ndwedwa C.E.O
Mr Bafana Ndendwa is the Managing Director of the BR-Tsima (Pty) Ltd. He is also the Chairperson of the Construction Industry Development Board ( CIBD) and the former Chairperson of Black Business Caucus in Built Environment( BBCBE). Mr Ndendwa is a former executive with extensive experience in the media industry having worked on assignments for Transworld International and the African Broadcast Network (ABN) and Licensing Sports International. He also obtains hands- on experience in serving the African Anglophone region.
With a career spanning almost 18 years, Mr Ndendwa has proven experience in various leadership roles across a wide range of industries. A seasoned business administrator, his career started in the mines as a mine surveyor. As the former CEO of the South African Black Technical and Allied careers Association (SABTACO), Ndendwa was highly instrumental in the advancement and development of technical professionals, BBBEE, women’s empowerment, youth development and was the Convenor of Siyakha Ma-Afrika establishment for the empowerment of emerging contractors. Mr Ndendwa holds various leadership positions including being the Chairman of Black Business Caucus in Built Environment (BBC-BE) and being the Vice President of Confederation of Black Business Organizations (CBBO).
Mr Molefe Raleigh Maesela (MRM)- Chairman
Mr Molefe Raleigh Maesela is a registered Professional Land Surveyor who runs his private practice in Polokwane, Limpopo Province. He has vast experience in the Built Environment Industry, having served in various executive positions within South African Black Technical and Allied Careers Organisation (SABTACO) since its inception in 1990. He is currently SABTACO’S President. Mr Maesela also served in the 1994- 1995 Housing Forum under the late Minister HonourableJoeSlovo’s Department of Housing which led to the present Government House Subsidy Scheme. Mr Maesela is also the Chairman of Meropa Leisure & Entertainment (Pty) Ltd ( a Casino under Sun International South Africa) and serves again as a Director in Palfinger Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd, a company specializing in supply and services of all types of cranes. He is a well-known figure within the construction industry and he is of great value to BR Tsima.

Mr Kelvin Gaur Radebe- Director
Mr Kelvin Radebe, an electrical engineer, has been actively involved in the Engineering Industry since 1989 and brings with him a wealth of experience in management, consulting and project management from prominent organizations nationwide. He has served in leadership positions on various organisations including South African Black Technical and Allied Careers Organisations Chairman where he served both in the EXCO and being a of the Education and Training Committee resulting in him playing a major role in skills development of young professionals both with CIETS and ENERGYS which was a municipalities capacity- building initiative for upskilling young professionals. Furthermore, he has also spent time as a visiting scientist in the Electrical Engineering Department at Brown University in the USA. With his academic, technical, leadership and business skills, he is an invaluable asset to BR-Tsima.
Christopher John Erasmus- Executive Director- Operations NHD Civil Eng. PR Techni Eng. PrCM
Chris has 25 years’ experience in the construction industry and had held various posts at senior level and has gained valuable experience across all facets of the group. Chris was recently appointed as Executive Director, Operations, at Basil Read and sharing his enormous experience with BR-Tsima.
Vinayagam Kumarasamy Moodley – Group Cost Control Director
Mr Logan Moodley joined Basil Read in 1988 in the accounts department. In 1996 was appointed as area cost controller overseeing KwaZulu- Natal. In 2003, he was appointed divisional cost control manager for the roads and civil engineering division. In 2007, he was appointed as Group Cost Control Director.
